During her academic years, her art was often published in local newspapers. She has won many art competitions and consistently achieved top-in-art awards in school every year.
Although versatile in a variety of mediums such as graphite pencil, color pencil, charcoal, water-color and oil, her favorite medium for artistic expressions are Acrylic, Mix-Media collage, Digital art Digital photography. Traveled to and worked in many countries in Asia-Pacific and Europe, her art and photography is inspired by the culture, food and sceneries that she came across.
You can't miss YIN's bold and exciting paintings as the bright colors call out to you! Thick, undiluted, brilliant paint! Fast expressive brushstrokes! Iridescent metallic paint glazed over highly textured acrylic modeling paste and other mix media! High relief paintings with sculpted 3D patterns and flowers. Sometimes, she adds a modern oriental Asian flavor by combining exotic colors metallic gold, bronze, copper, brown, purple, fuchsia, peacock blue, orange and red (colors often seen in Chinese brocade, Thai or Indian textile, architecture and ornaments).
